Sacral Hydrocolloid Dressing

Hydrocolloid sacral dressing is a type of medical dressing specifically designed for the sacral area. It mainly consists of three layers: a surface waterproof/protective layer; a middle hydrocolloid absorbent layer (which enables autolytic debridement); and a bottom adhesive/skin-contact layer. Its core functions are to prevent and treat pressure ulcers (bedsores) in the sacral region, while protecting the local skin from damage caused by external factors such as friction and moisture, and creating a moist environment for skin repair. It is suitable for people who are bedridden for a long time, those with limited mobility, incontinent individuals, and people who are obese or emaciated.

Product Details

The hydrocolloid sacral patch comprises three layers: a liquid-absorbent layer, a protective film layer, and a release liner layer. The liquid-absorbing and moisture-retaining functions of the hydrocolloid create a moist healing environment for the wound, which helps promote wound healing and reduce the risk of secondary bacterial infection and inflammation of the wound.

Shape Design:

Available in "butterfly shape, heart shape" or other custom curved shapes. It fits the physiological curvature of the sacral area, ensuring high conformability.

Size:

It has a relatively large size and a wide coverage range, which can protect the sacrum and the easily damaged surrounding skin.

Adhesive Performance:

The adhesive layer at the edge is wider, and the adhesive strength is moderate, balancing good adherence and easy removability.

Strong Liquid Absorbency:

Made of hydrocolloid material, it will gradually absorb skin secretions and form a gel-like substance. This maintains skin dryness and reduces skin irritation caused by moisture.

Cleanse the wound and

dry the peri-wound skin

Take out the dressing.

Measure the wound with the dressing

Peel off the backing paper

Stick dressing to the wound peel

off the extra film and then gently

press from the inside out
